To those who've been to the Esplanade concert hall...
1. box seatings
2. level stall seatings
3. balcony seatings
Which one do you think is better? and why?

depends on wat kinda performance lah
some mus sit near to see the faces
some mus sit far to enjoy the effects
some mus sit upstairs to get a full view
as long as not too far to the sides where i need to awkwardly turn my head to watch -

how are the box seats like?
what's the difference between the box and level seats? apart from the box seats being at the sides? -

box seats are good for orchestra and choir performances.......
if u are going for musicals, it's probably good to get middle seats, 2nd level oso can.....but not too far back....... -
i eber went for box seats. normally fer box seats they charge cheeper. i had attended a jazz concert and the box seat was fantastic. i was omos at the same level as the stage.
fer musicals, dun sit too far at the side. there was once i was allocated the 4th row but was at the side. knn. sumtimes canot see the action at the side.
oso, i wud not recomend circle seats or eben too far out at the stall seats. afterall, wat's a musical if u can't see their expression. there was once i was seated in the middle of the 3rd row. and the flamboyant obiang guy (acting as emcee) in saturday nite fever winked at me k.
sumtimes go see dos pianist oso beri sian one. muz humtum one loh. u wud neber knw where they wud be facing. many a time, they had their backs facing me... #%^&* -

planning to watch a concert there...haven been to the esplanade concert hall before so just gathering some info before i get my tics..
anymore input from anyone else?

duno abt u. but i m beri much mesmerized by how the conductor conducts, and the engrosed look on his face. haha.
if go to dos singer singer one. damn it. hope dos toopid kids who sing along doesn't sit near u.
