you think so hey? liddat jiallat... this problem has me scratching my head for few days now leh..
server side is not the prob, the app is split over a few boxes to reduce bottlenecks, and even then those are further split into clusters for load balancing and avoid single point of failures, each box has adequate disk/memory and cpu resources.
the way I see this is a problem on the remote client sites, there is no issue logging on to the app from remote sites or thru local lan, what happens is that after a while of using it, the performance slows dramatically to a crawl on the remote sites, sometime it can take 5-30min of waiting just to fire up a java graphical interface which is terribly slow. Our users on the local network sometimes get this problem but is not that often and also not that slow only 1-3mins.
Is this a graphical problem or a system cpu/memory issue.
