Choice of ISP

Used to be, I was satisfied with my Singnet 256..could clock downloads up to 30kbps. Then I switched to Singnet 512, and I got average of 50kbps for a while..until since mid last year..the max I can touch is around 30kbps now.
I've called Singnet and they've blamed everything on my end, lousy router, lousy wireless card, lousy modem, lousy microfilter, lousy computer. I've never heard them say, "Sorry sir, it's our fault!"
My contract is expiring in a couple of months...and I am looking to change my ISP.
Should I go with Starhub?
Should I go with Pacificnet?
Should I stick with Singnet?
Any recommendations?
I was looking at Starhub..and their offers are not appealing to me right now, free LCD monitor, free home wireless package or free PDA. I have all the above I don't need it!
It seems that every ISP has its own unhappy and happy subscribers. I've heard of some who claim it's Slownet, Starhog and Patheticnet. But some subscribers say it's Speednet, Starhyper and Prontonet?
Of course, the issue about dedicated bandwidth and shared line always comes up..what dedicated line for each consumer for DSL and shared bandwidth for cable.. I'm very undecided now. Would appreciate any help or personal experiences shared here. Thanks! -
I am now using starhub maxonline 2000. Speed is good and you get freebies when you sign up now.

for now i would say Starhub 6500.....or Ultimate......
since now u cannot dl this cannot dl that, i think 6500 is fairly adequate for normal home user......esp if it's shared access......
rber tt speed depends on ur comp specs, where the sites are hosted, wat u might be uploading/downloading at the same time, the kind of content/multimedia u are viewing, spyware and other assorted factors.....
but from experience, starhub cus svc friendlier than singnet's

Pacificnet broadband sucks
DSL with downloading speeds of not more than 55kbps for my computer -
as a matter of fact, it isnt.

i using 512 now lei...ok wat...wont lag...dl fast...then play games also fast...=)...
