Personally I disagree.
my points
- Perception of beauty and moral aesthetics ( kant ).
- Class segregation between demographics of who actually does rebonding as opposed to those that dont.
- Culture specific make up routines. Thick make up may not be appreciated here but elsewhere?
- re-emergence of health and naturality as opposed to artificiality as seen in modern films.
- the male gaze as a spatialpolitik
I think that should be enough for at least a 1000 words. -
500-800 words is too little for argumentative essays man.back in O level days i was already doing at least 850..erm but don't ever mention that beauty is at its very best in its natural state..you'll get shot for that..

will you? I think if you can argue against subjectivity and perception you can score high and waste words. No absolutes definitely but everything is contestable. well i got an A2 for english considering that i came from a neighbourhood school where the people mostly speaks chinese but i'm the opposite.ok the statement beauty is at its very best in its natural state is quite controversial.you can argue about it but den it will be contradicting your stance in which you disagreed.becuz rebonded hair and makeup is unnatural.and then again if this statement is true den why is it when brides are said to be their prettiest on their wedding night uses so much makeup and fashion props..forgive my lazy typing and spelling,its kinda auto when i'm on the keyboard..hehe

Weddings appeal to vanity and normative concepts of beauty as espoused by mainstream media. Based on sg's media consumption its not hard to see where the mainstay influences come from. By all means you should even bring foucault's long windedness to support the premise. And who asserts as an absolute tautology that brides are prettiest at their weddings? -
