Moving house- need professional mover!

  Help. Who can recommend me a good mover? Pls give me the contact...
  
  And also where to get storage boxes...???
  
  I'm moving next sunday.... stressed out!!!

  i use Shalom Movers Pte Ltd for all my moving islandwide over the past 20 years and my friend also uses them. So far service is good. You can also get storage boxes from them.

  how much do they charge? I don't have a lot to move. Not big items or furniture..

  Foxwalk, call sally and she can quote you. You are not obligated to use the movers if you find the quote too steep.
  
  She will ask you the following questions:
  
  1. Where are you at?
  2. Where are you moving to?
  3. Are both places on lift level?
  4. What items are you moving?
  
  So just call her. I have not idea what the charges are because it all depends on what you are moving.

  From experience I have learnt that it is better to move at one go.
  Get 1 big lorry.
  Set the day.
  Bring everything down.
  Move.
  Bring everything up.
  End.
  
  Use professional movers, or friends and neighbours, or army platoon.
  Do not use Bangla workers. They will hustle you, and you end up paying more than you agreed upon.
  
  Using a small lorry, with multiple trips = nightmare.

  my friends father had bangala workers to help them move last time.. and they stole the furniture.. lmfao

  Boxes are easy to get. Just go to the backdoor of any supermarket, they have tons of clean discarded cartons. If the cartons are inside, can ask a delivery man going in to get you some
  
  Better still, find a friend with a lorry and ask some friends to help and give them a treat later.
