Powerpoint Presentations(very important)
other MS office apps i'll most likely be doing.
Macromedia Dreamweaver and flash
No games.
My games are Final Cut/iMovies heh
or photoshop/coreldraw
itunes

what sorta music do you play? what dj programs you intending to use?
if you wanna do any live mixing, youll need an external 2 channel soundcard to hook up to your mixer. -
ahem, and if you want, ive got reason 3 and traktor dj studio 2,..that im willing to let you ahem "t r i a l" if you want.
remember you HAVE to buy an ORIGINAL copy if youre gonna use it...
but i wont tell. -

Firewire for backup is good, but aint PowerMac G5 2Ghz Dual the desktop version....? -

support for the PowerPC based macs will drop over the years
overhauling of the whole mac line
programs might only be made for the intel based macs in the future -
the whole mactel (or whatever you call it) thing is stupid
imo they're great beecause theyve got a cult following. but now that thats gone...it'll still be a great computer, but the...mystery..or whatever it is about apple, isnt gonna be there anbymore. -
