My advice is don't give up halfway loh! A maths is a subject that needs alot of practice and understanding just like e maths. Dropping the subject won't solve your problem cause you still have to take maths(similar or more advanced than a maths) in Polys or Jcs. I think you should try harder now than to struggle later

Tts what I did.
Anyway it would be very disadvantageous for you to drop A maths. If you go JC and you know A maths, you will be better off than the other students who did not study A maths. Same thing applies in Poly. in Engineering Maths, 20% of the content comes from A maths. -

for my prelims i got 37/39 upon 100? i always FAIL FAIL FAIL or pass by one mark? the highest i got was like 8/10 for the one where u manipulate the shapes? lol.
but my o levels i got A2 =D HANG IN THERE! you can do it. you can still take c maths if u drop a maths in sec sch in certain jcs, but its one hell of a time. my friend is in this predicament and she's struggling quite a lot. -

I wonder why some people are taking the chance to boast but, I think you should continue trying. Some people here are right. A Maths is extremely important if you are considering going to JC, cos the C Maths is already A Maths plus more stuff. More important if you're intending to do some engineering/science/accounting/business.
Unless you're considering arts/drama/design courses in the future...
I took A Maths before and i guess it helped me breeze through my JC and subsequently uni days.

pls don't give up on your add maths..i do belive its just practice makes perfect. i was from a Normal Academic class during my secondary school days,many of us just did E maths and some of them barely scrapped E maths . on to Poly, most of them were doing engineering courses ,which meant hard core Engine maths...other than the basic diff and integration, advanced stuff like fourier analysis, thermodynamic was a pretty much killer for them. As for me ..i did IT and i had to be subjected to 1 module of calculas and stats..it was pretty hard to pick up as i didn't do Add Maths back in secondary school, but during my exam,i scored an A for it ..hehe...just practice !!! stay focused
