Was at a coffeeshop yesterday when I saw another fella going from table to table picking out discarded cigarettes from the ashtrays. OMG he actually lit it up and puffed what was left of it!
Many years ago you NEVER ever see people digging thrash for aluminium cans. But I actually saw 2 people fighting over a rubbish can!

This is more like a sign of the times man, looks like we're regressing back to the third world status again, because these things are only common in 3rd world cuntries -

They are very common in post industrial cities like New York and Manchester too.

Dunno why i feel tat i need to wait longer n longer for bus as yrs go by... Today i wait for one hour juz for a 15 min bus ride. Very fed up, increase the price of bus ride n also at the same time increase my waiting time.

wrong.its actually a sign that singapore has improved so much over the last decades or so and people can't keep up with it.hence they are left behind...

actually sg govt did a good job in keep the poor not too poor and the rich not too rich.
In many asia countries u see many ppl rich like hell, while many poor until no food to eat. In sg, u dun see begger kids open merz car door for rich business man to beg for a one dollor coin,rite?
maybe sg govt couldnt balance it as good as before? -
