baggage allowances, singapore airlines

  anyone know what the allowances are for (free) tickets that are obtained by reedeming frequent flier points?
  
  i got a flight in a couple of hours and have a major stack of vinyl records to lug along...

  I believe that as long as you are a student, it's 30kg.

  the most you can go is 32....max max....
  anything more than that will not be allowed....

  ive done 38 before...with no excess charge =)
  but that was a one off - never trying that again.

  Think you should check with SIA. Normal baggage allowance is 20Kg + 7 kg carry-on.
