Query on Ipod battery

Hey pple, juz wondering how much an ipod battery costs as i'm thinking of changing my battery since my original ipod battery capacity is running low. If i'm still on my 1 yr warranty...how much do i have to pay?.anyone has any experience in this?..Also, i'm thinking of getting the 18 hr ipod battery. Anyone knows how much tat costs? Advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanx pple.

If your ipod can no longer carry a charge and still under the 1 year warranty, you can send it for free servicing if im not wrong. go check apple website for more info.

out of warranty, want apple to change batt for u: US$99, should be about $180 in singapore, going by ipod shuffle's price
out of warranty, change yourself: buy online, batt usually costs US$25-US$40.
