I love to bypass silly script-based password protections on blogs simply by switching off scripting support in the browser. It's simple, really.

Sometimes the browser is simply too fast, or the script uses a loop. I'll recommend Maxthon (http://www.maxthon.com) for its download control that allows one-click toggling of pages elements such as sounds, images, ActiveX, Java applets, and of course not forgetting scripting.
