What is the appropriate amount of angbao money to give to bestman/bridesmate? Any advice?

$28 seems to be the common amount, but pending on ur level friendship with them, and how much work they would be doing.
I got $60 for being the "Chief Coordinator" for one of my buddy's wedding.

$28 seems very little. I would give $100 or more cos they spend the whole day helping out- very tiring u know

i got $68 + a dinner treat (for all xiong dis and jie meis) after the wedding

usually mi will pack it back for the bride or bridegroom
e.g. they give mi $60, mi will give red packet $61. the $1 from mi lah, the rest $60 return them
cannot blame mi lah, mi o level nia and working as waiter -
Last time i helped my friend as xiong di from morning 4 am to nite, cause he teochew, move out early. then $20 or $10 nia leh

I know the kid opening the wedding car door must get at least $50. (Personal experience.)
So, to bridesmaid/man, 3 digits is a must!
