Buying of HDB Flats

  Anyone know how couple (not married) can buy HDB Flat now?
  Dun know have to wait for how long lei????

  Not single lei, plan to get married but not this year lor, so is it ok to apply flats this year?
  If not have to wait very long before we can collect the flat n move in lei...

  Not married couple? i doubt they could buy HDB flats unless they are legally married in the eyes of the law i.e. ROM
  
  if u're looking for walk-in selection flats, u wouldn't have to wait long. U could always go to HDB website to check it out.

  or u could apply under the fiance/fiancee scheme.
  
  can't rmb the exact details, but u have to get ROM-ed within 3 mths after u got the flat.

  Yes, you can apply first. But must be ROM-ed before you get your flat.

  Me really wanted my own house badly but scare it will be costly, really worried we cant afford.

  Go to the HDB and find out. Think there is a Design-&-Build scheme whereby you can pay 10% of the price first, and the other 10% when the flat is ready.

  now houses price quite low for 5 rooms, especially in units near Boon lay, Jurong point. 4 room a demand, that is why HDB oversupply. last heard its going for 180,000. please try to check yourself again.

  Btw, is is true tat ur downpayment have to b at least 4% cash upfront?
  As it use to b 1% n the rest cpf.
