AFAIK, some developers are pretty stuck on one language rules all mentality. They tot they only need to specialise one language and such skills will provide money for them till the day they retire. Fat hope i guess. I met some hardcore Java developers but now with .NET I wonder how they react. I still remember those Java developers slamming C++ ppl during their heydays. Now should be .NET ppl slamming Java ppl?

Well, this is an old debate. No one is going to win the war. C++ guys used to laugh at Java's slow speed too. Depending what you want to do, there is always a better tool for you.
I agree with you. The only one language mentality should change. Just pick the best tool/language that suits you most. Right?
