Singha Beer is the main national brand, although losing its grip as number one now.
A peculiar tasting brew, not to my liking. A draught version is available as well, slightly different taste, but still not very palatable. Some people like it, and if you ask for a beer without specifying a brand, this is what you will usually be served.
The version that is exported in cans and bottles is slightly more palatable.

Why does Singha taste like piss? At last the definitive answer from their own website here, if you look carefully at the brewing process graphic, you will see at the bottom left they add "Gold Water"!!!!! -
