Wht's the most stupid purchase you have ever made?

I went for shopping last weekend. A salesgirl out of nowhere approached me. She was promoting some beauty products which was said to be superb effective. She said as the ingredients were all natural, it would be suitable for ALL skin types. Upon hearing that, I bought the 'stupid' thing. It cost $58.80. Now I have pimples all over my face. Got to see a skin specialist. aaaiii.... Wonder if any one of you have made any purchases before which is not worth the buy?

A CPF investment plan from an insurance company. I bought it 2 years back in one of their road shows in Toa Payoh HDB hub. I admit I was not thinking straight because that insurance advisor was a SYT. Pretty regret til now because the investment is stagnant. My only consolation is the $$$ is from CPF (or rather garmen's $$$ until I'm 55 years old).
