Taking medicine

  Hi, just an enquiry here...
  Usually when a person is sick and is prescripted medicine to be taken at certain rate (e.g 3 times/day) ...
  What if I missed taking one time of medicine, do I continue taking my next round of medicine at the next timing normally or do I double my dosage?

  never double your dosage...
  
  just take it as if you took the last dose

  it's true that you should never ever double your dosage and that you should continue as per normal. also, just remember that if its anti-biotics, finish the whole course...

  I'll take at the point i realised i missed the time... then start a whole new cycle from there...

  dont double your dosage, just remember to take next time.

  Don't start a whole new cycle, it might be dangerous if you start it too early. Continue with your previous cycle and take it all at the same times.
  
  Eg, if you need to take at 0hr, 0.5hr and you miss the one at 1hr, continue per normal at 1.5hr without restarting any cycle or changing the dosage.

  no.. dont ever take double dosage.. once you've done it wrongly.. forget that you had forgotten to give the person the dose when he/she was supposed to and then continue as per normal. never give extra doses

  Please double your dosage, especially with paracetemol. If you missed the 1000mg dosage after lunch, please take double that amount after dinner.
