  Yes...as to the why...it's just a personal preference, wanting to try out life outside of Singapore. As to where...fornow it seems to be Australia, but I do hope to try living in London for awhile once I've made enough.

  London sure is expensive, but it just seems so...i dunno, my dream place to live in? It remains to be seem if i can afford to live there comfortably though. Should develop the habit of winning the lottery on a regular basis

  To apply for Australian citizenship you would need to have been in Australia for at least 2 years as a permanent resident in the last five years. This time must include a total of twelve months in the two years immediately before making your citizenship application. The twelve months does not need to be continuous.
  
  There are some exceptions to the residence requirements:
  Service in the permanent Australian Defence Forces for at least 3 months;
  Service in the Australian Reserve Forces for at least 6 months;
  Former Australian citizens or persons born in Australia; and
  Spouse, widow or widower of an Australian citizen.

  Australia if i'm not wrong, you can be a PR there in only 6 months. You have to be recognised as a professional though, and that 6 motnhs living there must be undisrupted. Else, you can always try taking a full time degree. Certain degrees qualify you for PR once you complete the course, others simply give you a head start.
  
  Anyways, besides the usual of Australia, UK and USA, what are other nice places to migrate to?

  NZ, Switz, Canada...
  
  and Stockholm, germany, sweden ..and other places in Europe...

  U urge u al go and travel. U will know the vast diffeence in the "pigeonhole" life u have been living here all yr life...

  not so fast depends on where ur occupation is under modl's scheme...otherwise its around 1 yr plus + time taken to have ur skills accessed ( tedious paperwork)

  im in i.t line...heard its quite tuff..im in da process of applying for pr..skills assesment has been approved...gonna be a long wait anyways
