Are there dual nationality for Singaporean? can it be possible?
Does a permanent residency visa at a foreign country be regarded as citizenship of the country?
For example, I'm a Singapore citizen. I went to work in USA on a Green card there and have permanent residency. Does that means i became an American and my Singapore citizenship revoked? -
If i'm not mistaken, you can theorectically hold dual citizenship. As long as the Singapore government does not know about it, it's pretty much fine. But, once they find out, they'll ask you to choose between the two.
Also, for the example you gave, you supposedly can hold PR status with almost all countries in the world at any one time, and still hold Singapore citizenship. Citizenship ranks higher than PR. -

If you are talking about holding dual citizenship = Singapore and another country, why bother?
Why do you need you still need Singapore citizenship when you can get Australia or some other country's citizenship?
