as the population of the world increases, things happen more... and also with the increase in the types of reporting and types of media, everything will be reported..
therefore things seem to "happen" more but actually, things have not changed

straits times reported today that just this year alone 10 thais in singapore died of sudden unexplained death syndrome aka SUDS.
a few of our compatriots died the same way during or after exercise.

stuck at swing trainer and low rope...i think i waste 2mins plus on each station(die die must clear sia this week)...still cannot do....Sergeant until tulan like fark -

Last time, there was so much to focus on the international arena.
Now, there are nothing much to report on, Iraq War over.
So, the local newspaper have to rely strongly on local events and incidents.
I dun think the news or death of NSF servicemen is not released in the past.
If the news is not spice up, the wan bao would not have any readership considering you are paying 70 cents for loads of crap and unconfirmed information. -

that's the biggest mass burial/ calamity of the century leh..
anyway, everyone has to die sooner or later.. so what's the big deal if all the big figures die at abt the same time? Should look on the bright side.. they contributed to the good of the world at about the same period time, otherwise, the world would have been a worse place for the last decade. Celebrate their lives, not their deaths.
PS: Princess Di considered a big figure meh?
