Stop pollution!
Mother earth is very angry! Some researchers suggest that the earth is infact a living organism and destroying large acres of rainforest result in her taking revenge on humans in the form of viruses like AIDs, SARS ect....
They also suggst that recent natural disasters like tsunami and volcanic eruptions are also similar.
Is mother earth taking revenge?
The Gaia Theory
The Gaia theory basically states that the Earth is a living organism, in the same way that we or any other living creature are organisms. As we can become sick or hurt, so can the Earth Herself. Our bodies have mechanisms for healing. It stands to reason, therefore, that the Earth would also have mechanisms for healing wounds. What are these mechanisms? Well, how about earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, volcanos, forest fires......the list goes on and on. Volcanos can be compared to human fevers and vomitting. Earthquakes to convulsions. These are ways for the Earth to purge herself of poisons and illness.
Unfortunately, we are often the cause of this illness. We are causing extensive damage to our planet which must be repaired. The more extreme the damage, the more extreme (or violent) the healing force required to undo it. It seems that there are more and more natural disasters every year - El Nino may even have something to do with this. Humans casualties are often a side-effect of these disasters. I don't believe that it is intended for humans to die or suffer. The Earth is our mother after all. But it happens, and the healing of the Earth is really of greater importance than us somewhat insignificant humans. Without the Earth, NONE of us will be here.
The problem is that at some point, we may cause such extensive damage to the Earth that it may take an apocalyptic event to correct it. Think about it - if the Earth returned to a state of complete molten lava, it WOULD be restored. Trash, petroleum contaminents, plastics, and even nuclear waste would be consummed , and the planet returned to its original state to start over. Of course, there would be no human life left at that point. Evolution would have to begin again from scratch.
I sincerely hope that something so catastrophic will never happen or be necessary. That is why it is so important for us to take care of our Mother. She needs our help, and it is to all of our benefit that we give it. We all need to work together to preserve the Earth. Our lives depend on it.
SO when will the earth create giant monsters to roam the land?
! person can change. 1 country may change. But how to change the mindsets of 6billion pple? Almost impossible.
