  it was never explained in the movie how that can happen... but i guess it was meant to show the depth of david's love for monica. By sheer power of real emotion, tears flowed from his artificial eyes. This movie is superb, and gets better with each viewing.

  A.I. totally sucked. the concept was interesting, but the plot was like written by a 3 year old.
