  It is indeed quite disappointing was expecting to see more action between humans and aliens fight to their death but all I can see is to imagine cuz the actual hand to hand combat didn't really materialize in the movie. Not to mention I had to squeeze with a lot of ppl for the movie ticket at city square pavilion theatre. Was so tempted to get the pirated version from jalan wong ah fook instead of squeezing with ppl

  its great, true to the books even without that old english flavour in it.

  it's not bad right up till the ending.
  
  there was quite a lot of action, tense situations etc. until the ending where the aliens just died by themselves, that was disappointing. other than that it's quite good.

  I guess many people are disappointed by the fact that the alien died by themselve and ain't stop by humans. However, this is how the novel ended and they sticked to it. What's so disappointing about that?

  because they want to see humans, being its own special and unique race, be powerful and be able to slaughter those aliens like maggots. maybe hoping for a superman to come and kick their alien butts like in comics.
