  is there any way for a 16 yr old (no income) to apply for credit card?

  ask your dad to give you a supplementary card.
  
  minimum annual wage to be eligible is around 30k. so you dont stand a chance at all.

  i wan buy tings online.. but my parents are very skeptical of such online stuff.. so unless i have my own.. else i everytime have to send cheques and stuff..

  then ask someone with a credit card who is not skeptical to do it for you. then pay him with the cheque. say your uncle or some relative.

  can use a debit card to make internet purchases. it functions exactly like a credit card except you have to put money into the account and the amount is deducted right away after every transaction.
