SPCA NEWS LETTER
SPCA is organizing Animal Day at Parco Bugis Junction on 7-9 Oct (Fri - Sun) 2005. They need your help to :
1. Man Stall
2. Face/Hand Paint Ballon Sculpture
3. Design Posters/Badge making
4. Emcee or Perform on Stage
5. Think of anything else to add interest to the event
The run in 3 shifts:
1st shift : 11 - 2 pm
2nd shift : 2 - 6 pm
3rd shift: 6 - 9 pm

They need a FIRM COMMITMENT. And you would be dealing with Members of the Puiblic.

Fee : $20. Most of the proceeds will go to SPCA

Every Last Friday of the Month starting 29 July - SPAC Pound will open from 10 am - 8.30 pm. Drop by to adopt or purchase SPAC merchandise.

SPCA needs new designs for 2005 Xmas Cards. Submi drawing/illustration.

Sale of SPCA merchandis at Causeway point Shopping Center, L1 beside Burger King. 16-17 July from 12 - 7.30 pm
SPCA Adopted Cats now Microchipped
Adopted Cats do get lost. SPCA introduced micro chipping. Cost will be absorbed by SPCA so adoption price remains at : $50 for male cat and $65 for female cat. This is the fee for sterilization, vaccination and deworming.
Fun Run
SPCA will hold the 3rd annual fun run at Macritchie Reservoir Park on 21 August. Go to SPCA web site for details.

1. Mettacats is planning for a mass vaccination for its resident cats. Vaccination cost is $19 per cat.
2. To efficiently utilise the limited area space at Mettacats, multi-tiered shelves are used to provide the cats with adequate resting space.
Mettacats intends to replace all existing rusty shelves with plastic ones and require sponsorship for the purchase of 20 such shelves at $29.90 each.
3. MettaCats is a non-profit animal welfare group, hence the day to day running of the cattery depends largely on the sponsorship by volunteers and members of the public.
Thus we sincerely appeal for sponsorship of the following items:
* Pet food (for both cats and dogs)
* Rice
* Anti-bacterial floor detergent
* Kitchen Paper towels
* Plastic/Trash bags
* Cotton wool
* Plastic multi-drawers to store medicine
* Scratching posts
* Metal eating bowls
* cat/dog toys
* Animal Carriers
* Animal medication
* Old towels
* Old Comforters/Blankets
* Old Pillows/Pillowcase /Bed sheets
Our volunteers are available to pick-up the items at your convenience and your generosity will greatly benefit the cattery and animals.
