heard many many many ppl say tht XP will detect those pirated software thn will wat wat... is it true? thinking of changing to xp coz now 2000 pro when start up so slow..

When you install the software on your PC using her CD, and you don't have a valid user license, you become the unlicensed user and that makes you no different from anybody else installing using a pirated CD. -

Just give call to microsoft sg support, tell them u reinstalled the system os due to crash/format, cannot quote them the old cd key, they'll issue new one to register it

I am sorry but doesnt almost everyone uses pirated discs or cd key? seriously one original win xp cd costs a bunch.
That's the reason why government is actually allowing pirated shops to be set up for a while before closing them down. You think if pple set up shop selling drugs, government will close one eye? -

If you install on the same PC, then it is always counted as 1 time.
Anyway, you can call their customer service for new product key. I think you need to answer a few questions. -

it can do almost everything you want to do on Windows, except games without suffering performance hit. -
Man... Im having this problem myself as well...
After asking around... Feels that it really gives lots of problem... Might as well buy one CD for myself...
