  Nabe is a kind of Jap dish. Usually claypot based.

  nabe is actually hotpot/steampot. The japan sumo usually eat nabe where they throw everything in a pot and boil it.

  There's a restaurant near Alexandra Rd, opposite PSA Building, beside SAJC sell this dish. Using special paper to collect steamboat soup.

  What I know from my japanese cook days (1990 ) , " Nabe" is those aluminium pot ..... clay-pot ? Dunno , not sure .
