Silence, too much to ask for?

  i've been going around these days, in search of a place where there's complete silence. when i say silence, i really mean total silence.
  
  isn't it very difficult to find somewhere peaceful and quiet with absolutely nothing to disturb and distract you?

  well...i noe a place, many places in fact where you can find utter silence...pity most of us have no access to them. ever seen those rooms covered with funny looking pyramids sticking out of the walls? those rooms are completely silent. else, you can try...outer space?

  haha...nah...not so simple...permanent severe damage to the ear drums...yeah..that'll do...else burn all neurons that process sound...utter silence for life...

  there are noise-cancelling headphones.. get a pair.. go to a room where it's really quiet, put the headphones on to kill off the ambient sounds...
