Wat da hell? I asked the cashier what was the price of batteries and told him the type, He look blur when i say 2AA sized battery the babodoh go and take AAA size and give me, like blur sotong.Tell him that it is 2AA, he still act blur#$%..WTF in the end have to point to him which battery it is! When the ANg mOh behind me asked something, he suddenly turned into "ang MO" and talked to him with that Kuniiang English accent.
So local people like me are inferior? -

not only 7-11 lah....almost all the shops in sg still like that.....maybe the service staffs have this mentality that we r still living in the colonial period n their grandmother still works as maid for the ang mos

actually the 7-11 guy was surprised that you expected him to know the prices of the batteries offhand.

is 7-11 a convenience store or opened by airy Farm just to earn rentals and to their plicy of "opening a branch every 6 days".. i am seeing more and more 7-11 outlets popping up, half of them has always almost no business, and the staff are always very slow in doing things.. they mostly franchise rite? benefits dairy farm group..
AMK central has 3 7-11 now, usually only got 1..
town centrals got more and more 7-11, snapping up empty shops faster than other hopefuls

it is true.
staff at 7-11 work long, odd hours with little remuneration. they are mostly old folks or uneducated youngsters.
dont expect too much from them.
anyway it is really silly to ask them for the prices.
