there was once i reached home at 2.30am -
last year...after the NE show? we left the damn stadium at 3am...and that was to head back to camp cuz we all had to send arms. by the time we cld book out, it was 6 in the morning....andthat was a sunday morning...worst still, i had duty that sunday...crap...whole week stuck in camp...Originally posted by kopiosatu:what are u complaining about?

when the actual day comes, you forget about the sh|t you went through just to get there.
i hear people complaining about ndp in here, that its so boring, even when they were participants its so boring. all i can say is that based on my experience... everyone wanted to be on the field that day. So whenever people b|tches about NDP, its like a movie critic. He/she may not like it, doesn't mean others think the same way. -

Yes... NDP is fun! Its only after everything is over, you sit down at the empty stadium, and then you realise the beautiful things that have been done since May.
On the actual day when you are singing the National Anthem and reciting the pledge with everyone, and watching the State Flag fly past, its a completely different feeling. If during that time you feel like you should be at home sleeping or feel like its just another weekday flag-raising, then something is wrong. -

NE show....i was there too. Suppose to be able to go back at 9 plus, but because of some cock-ups and the bus for the children only arrive abt 12 plus, i ended up in come at 2 plus in the morning. Only after those primary 5 kids leave, then we can go back. no.. i regretted joining the ndp as well.. practice so much just for that farking 3 minutes on the stupid field.. our total practice time could be well spent doing something else.. i participated in 2001 ndp.. and it sux shiet.. lotsa pple didnt enjoy the practices as well.. thats a pretty positive statement though.Originally posted by waitrose:Trust me. But u must remember that a lot of ppl are running ard doing sai kang, working behind the scenes, they don't have the chance to enjoy the atmosphere. I can understand why they are disgruntled.
And yah, the NE shows are a real b!tch, always have to wait for the ginahs to make their very slow exit, before the military contigents can leave.
