Retribution can be said to be the Unvirtuous outcome of karma - however it is quite different from Luck, which is...

If luck is said to be happening by chance, then it is not considered Karmic, and thus contradictory... however if it is simply "good fortune", then you can say that indeed it is the karmic outcome of unluckiness.

are you a buddhist? buddhists and astrologers have very different view points of destiny. shall not go into details/argue becos buddhists are very persistent people; keep thinking they're correct abt destiny.

But even that is by karma. Similarly our 'destiny' is not pre planned in our palms, but palm reading might find out some answers about your future. -

human behaviour is economic behaviour.When we do good,we would of course expect something in return.When someone does bad,we would wish misfortune on him.
in my opinion,karma is an illusory contrapment,just like 'destiny','fate','true loves' and maybe even religion.
its all created so that we can make some sense out of our lives,so that we won't feel like the dust in the wind.
but at some point of time,one must come to terms with the fact that
life is not fair,never is and never will be.so we just have to make the best out if it or end our lives or take comfort in - karma.

I believe in destiny more than Karma.
Tons of people have managed dirty deeds and gotten away with it without retribution in the history of mankind.
Of course Karma as many believe do exist to a select few: take the rottweiller biting the doctor's son for example....classic. -

Destiny is not a complete word for life events.
If a person is Destiny to do something, he do not have to make any choice. Not even need to have mental thinking. Just like breathing. We don't have to think to breath, but we are breathing constantly even in sleep. Do we call ourself destiny to breath till death comes? Destiny is more of a general path of that person. Just like travelling, if you travel fast (Work hard) you will see the city by day time. If you travel slow (Lazy) will not have enough time to reach the city.
I believe in Karma. In fact, the explanations that Karma = Cause & effect is not complete either.
I would explain Karma as "Cause & Effect that which happens the situations enhance it."
Just in simple words for everyone to understand. Not everytime shooting inside a p u s s y will end up babies. Get it? It's only when situation "ENHANCES" it ... then the result comes. Funny but true.
