as people say, let bygones be bygones.. so let history be history.. why bring it up again since its history???

IMO, yes, studying it is one thing, but having an exam is another.. why ppl study mao zedong when they should study themselves better? k, i didnt take history for O levels, i siam it and chose geography.. its easier, without the source base questions and its biasness..
also, knowing history of a particular thing is impractical as nobody will ask you about it, unless you are related to it, but then, fir mao zedong, i dont see how we are related to him.. history about your own country, and singaore's developement, the meanings of parks and roads are more worthwhile history than the downfall of this country (was it USSR) or what mao zedong did besides being a heavy smoker (or was it deng xiao ping?), and even less than knowing what KMT does..
those who study history for O levels should know this..
