For information only. In SBST and SMRT, there are no such thing as bus drivers, they are known as bus captains and service captains respectively.Originally posted by shade343:I think Bus driver more friendly...they smile more often...
Correct. They are known as Passenger Train Operators.Originally posted by Rhonda:I don't think we get to see the Train Driver much. BTW, aren't they called 'Train Operators'?
Anyways, if the train was in motion and I saw the train operator driving by, I don't think I'd be too happy to see him because, hey, he's supposed to be in his carriage monitoring the train!
TIBS Bus Drivers, IMO, are more polite than SBS bus drivers in general. There are a few TIBS bus drivers who would actually greet you with a cheerful 'Good morning / afternoon / evening!' when you board. TIBS bus drivers also tend to wait for you if they see you running for the bus.
The bus drivers on the SBS buses that I take to and from work are sometimes not bad. If I'm in uniform and they see me running for the bus, they'll stop for me.They are pretty kind to 'missy's.
