Just read the ST article again....
The way he phrases his questions and the process to derive the "answer" those questions are leading to is damn power! Reminds me of my philo module and Socrates who ask questions in such a way that the other party cannot defend himself.

He's a lawyer. His job is to defend for anyone who can afford to pay him. If NKF has engaged him, he would have been on that side.
And for your information, he's PAP's favourite lawyer when it comes to suing PAP's political opponents. -

but that's not my point. I think you should think again why people are put on trial and sentenced in courts.. it's not because of how good or bad the lawyer is ( for e.g. oh no i have a bad lawyer.. i'm going to jail now.. oh no). I think it's really because the person did something wrong. -
People go on trial to clear their names after being accused of wrongdoing. The judge's pronouncement determines whether they go to prison or walk free. However, a good defence counsel will boost the chances of an acquittal. The structure of the nation's legal system also does play some part. as for davinder singh, there's also k shamugum. i believe lky mentioned years ago that these 2 would have been made ministers if they were willing to give up their legal careers. -
Look carefully at his questions... the way he ask is based on intimidation and confusion... Basically he is using words to attempt to beat a confession out of the plantiff..
But in this case can support him cos hes standing on the good side... for now
