There was one afternoon a few years ago when I napped like a log...and I didn't hear the doorbell when my sister returned. She had to wait for Mum and my aunt, who came home befire dinner.

if forget to bring keys and i got locked outside i will call and ask someone to come to the door lor.
but i personally cant stand people who goes out w/o their keys and expect people to open their door for them by pressing doorbell incessantly. -
Hmm i will just go out to shop or smth, if not i will go to the clubhouse and chill, but if lets say am realli dead tired then i will definately fire the person inside unless of course he/she has a valid reason. But so far i always bring my keys along so haven encountered this kind of situation before.
