Them resigning is them taking the fall already. In the "grown up" world, this is saying "sorry, you all right, i wrong, ok? I go."
For this to happen within 48 hours is already very remarkable already. Mrs Goh CT somemore. "Grown up" world is a lame term used by alot of Singaporeans who deemed themselves as a "grown up". There's no such thing as a "grown up" world as authority and power are merely clothings worn over a normal human like you and me and everyone else. 
If growing old is making Singaporeans difficult to puke out a word of sorry, then maybe they aren't that old up in their head to speak of in the first place. In short, there are many people out there who may look old and wise...but their arrogance kept them from becoming wise and matching up with their "wise" appearance.
Resigning is not taking any fall, it is a cowardly act to avoid incurring further insult and shame to themselves. If "The grown up" world exists, then sorry shouldn't be difficult to do so. Else if they're really prideful in addition to feeling real shameful and guilty of what they have done, the windows up in the 20th+ levels of their high office is always avaliable. So pick one please...
It's disappointing how cowardly people behaves in all levels...especially in higher levels (People with great authority and power at their disposal).
But one thing for sure, I'm not going to donate any monetary items to any charity organisations till their organisation is as transplarent as my tap water. If I'm going to donate money, it will be directly given to the patient concerned.
By the way, NAME doesn't means anything even if you're a person in power...cos ultimately you will only be remembered for what you've done, be it good or bad...wise or silly...kind or evil. And for the rest, their names will be nothing more than a whisper after they're dead.
I hope the shamed individuals will come out with at least an apology and a plan to restore the abused confidence in the common people who have generously donated to the needy and has been hideously exploited by this ridiculous scam.
By the way, I didn't donate a cent to this scam. -
All I ask for is an explanation of where all my donations went.

Ten Person Contribute:
$600(yearly) x 10= $6000
Hundred Person Contribute:
$600(yearly) x 100= $60,000
Thousand Person Contribute:
$600(yearly) x 1000= $600,000
