When young that time cinema use to alway have indian men selling peanuts, man there is just so many various types. Got green one, red one, stream one, deep fried one ......... Then suddenly all disappear and nowaday cinema all pop-corns. Was alway wondering where all the peanuts men went.
Now i know why cinema nowaday only sell only pop corn !!! Thank to Mrs Goh for telling me that peanut nowaday is SGD$600,000 !!! No wonder all peanut men, all gone !!! So expensive, how to sell, of course have to find other works, possible one of them did went to work for NKF !
better stock up with peanut butter !!! Because Mrs Goh sentence suddenly raise the price of peanut .... !! May cost about $600,000 per bottle soon !!! -

Please stop making fun of peanut ! Not sure why someone have to refer SGD$600,000 as peanut, she should have refer it to durian instead.
For peanut is our livehood. Each peanut, is grown through hard work, grown from the good earth, to provide good food for our body. We sell peanuts, in cinema which bring joy to all those who go to the cinema ! Also for a small profit of a few cents we feed our families, clothes our children and educate them. Peanut is a food to be respected for all its goodness.
In other days we would have been proud that our peanut is refer as SGD$600,000 ! But in view of every cent , every dollar like peanuts come from hard working folks like us too, that earn it through hardwork, sweat and blood ! It is a insult to be link to such unfortunate incident which does the peanut no glory.
We pea to people of singapore, stop saying peanut . We will be so stupid as to sue you, a very important lesson learn from president of NKF, you may end up choked by your own peanuts. We will just go on strike and you will have no more peanuts, then you really have to pay for $600,000 for a bottle of peanut.
