both taiwan and china dictionaries came up with nothing on this word.
condolence money is probably a local phrase too. occidentals dont practice it at their funerals. i guess they do not have a standard word for it. -

Check kouden in your Japanese dictionary and there should be something like "condolence money", "incense money" or similar terms.
As for "bo jin", there are some instances of its usage on articles in Chinese news web sites (examples below):

There probably isn't a standard international term as the term is derived from local customs in Asian countries. Not sure if the angmohs have such similar practices as well.
