This confirms my theory that his sarcastic remarks on the 3rd show was a result of his knowing that his GOLDEN GOOSE is finally dead -

not sure if the figure was excessive by show hosting standards but they are doing a job nothing wrong with them being paid even if it is for a charity

Mr Cai have done his job professionally in performing for the NKF find raising.
The fund raising is truly for the welfare of the kidney paitents.
Although it is so what distorted by the NKF ex-management, it serves its purpose in getting money in.
Cai Qi Tai is just doing his job and is paid to do it.
He is not really responsible about the management of NKF.
The only thing about his style of compere is that he draw so much emotions that it have become too false.
It is time that he re-invent himself for the show.
Cannot alway use the same pattern of conducting the show.
The sad fact is also that we dun have any local talent to do it. -
I believe the Ah Ge Ah Jie are also paid about the same amount la.

Anyway, from now on, I will not donate to any charity shows be it Ren Ci, President Star Charity or NKF, unless the telecoms, the artists (both Local and Overseas), MC and Mediacorp declare they are not charging the donators or the recipient anything more than some allowance. Allowance can be lunch allowance of $4 per meal or transport allowance like taxi claim. However, airplane ticket transport claim by overseas artists is not allowed. Instead, the airtickets can be sponsored by SIA, Valueair or whatever airline. Same with the meals if Mac or KFC wants to sponsor.
As for prize sponsorship, I will prefer the recipient of the prize be the charity and the name of the "winner" say Ms. Tan Ah Koy be announced so that she be glorified in name and not in prize. The sponsor can say, "We are donating this $100,000 to charity X in name of Ms. Tan Ah Koy from Ang Mo Kio St 11". Ms. Tan can be there to personally handover the check to charity x. What do you think? -

People shld donate willingly and not donate just to win prizes or cash.
