There is a place where where shouting loudly is the norm. From their Parliament to TV compere to the man selling red bean soup on the street - they gesticulate, they provoke and they challenge u with words, inviting you to retaliate and then a free for all punch out.
This guy Cao thinks he is very clever as compared to our muted, reserved and careful compere. He displays everything that is different so from a certain angle he appears to be impromptu, quick wit and daring. He is also naturally fluent with his language and he takes full advantage of it. Ask him to host a show in English like what many of our local comperes are doing. Can he?
Foreign talent? Give the same leeway to our locals and they can do as good.
It is about time Cao pack up and go back to where he comes from and compete with similar people in an arena where their style, behaviour, attitude and mannerism are acceptable and compatible ---- and in fact necessary for survival. -

Frankly speaking, whether you are sick or not, your "face" is still very important. When you are sick, are you really willing to come out and "beg" people to donate? -
16k for a show is standard....
anyone who have cable tvs will know that the artistes whom you call to the studio like those taiwanese or hongkong variety shows will get the "chou lao" etc....
especially those in zhong yi ta ge ta or xiao qi gui ta cai shen etc.....
for such big event shows its about 10k per show...like when you invite the skinny rich lady, cant remember her name, to sing songs also must pay...
DUN BLAME AH CAO, BLAME THE NKF MANAGEMENT IF they want to give them the money. Remember those people are at the receving end, if they dun want the money they are stupid.
It the people at the giving end.... Anyway, ah Cao has done his best in his job right? didnt he kept people calling the line? etc?
