Ok, I admit - I am slow.
Can anyone help me to explain, why shouldn't Tom Cruise just avoid from the predicted crime scene, time and victim and show up later to all that the so-called precrime system wasn't perfect at all?
I thought by doing so would help to prove the precrime system was a flaw system and thus everything around would collapse? Since it had been known by everyone and everyone was waiting for it to happen. -
he'd haf been arrested when they saw the images...
and him running away starts the real story of this movie.

the reason is simple. if you see yourself in a crime. you'd want to find out what's causing you into the situation and he finally realised that it's his lost son that provoke him to kill.

Simple.. hes confident that he can stop himself from killing and still solve the mystery... and he did.. but that guy pull the trigger on himself -

Good Question there, But the prob is he doesnt know at first someone is trying to frame him up because his victim is a complete stranger. He wants to find out wat is his connection with this stranger and what is wrong with the system. Later he find out that he was the murderer of his son which is a staged up show. The plot thickens when he finds out someone has been pulling his legs all along...Someone wanted cruise to murder a stranger who is involved in another crime to cover it up by toying with his emotions- to mislead him into extracting revenge of his son's murder. The victim in this case is also a perpertrator of another crime
I guess speilberg has been playing around with our minds.To test us if we can think deeper and not take anything at face value. -

Whoever invented the story is damn good...This kinda story also can pop out.

We should read or see such stories more often as it can enhance our thinking capabilities, serious. I think the lesson we can learn from the movie is this:
Never put complete trust in a system, thinkng, belief or entity wihout thinking critically about it. In the end it will turn back to bite u. AKA NKF SAGA -
Well, of course Tom Cruise wanted to find out the answers - who the victim was, why the precrime system would make such prediction. But as a person who believed so much in the system, why would he want to bear the risk to be on the same spot, same time, facing the same probable victim? Kind of looking for trouble. Can't he wait a bit longer? Must he 'prove' to the others he was a murderer?
