Why some people hide their status on Friendster?

I seen some kuku people upload new photo... update caption, write Testimonials for people and its not like people dunno they're attached... and they still put Single?

i think they are just ppl who still want to have flings...i experienced this before too...some guy just approached to be friends...and when things were going fine between us, i found out he's attached from the pics on his gf's page! n both of them put single status...

Innocently enough, it seems that such a network leans towards platonic friendship and does not support monogamy.
