Nonsense lah...the reason Singapore is called the Lion city stems from the time of Sang Nila Utama. He supposedly saw a lion either just prior to, or just as he landed on this island's shores, hence the term Lion city...

Looks like the land no longer breeds magnificent creatures. However we still have cats and dogs , and lots of KPKB people who have no IDEA how to sell the Singapore brand. -
