Taiwan Disaster.

Have u people read news or watch news on tv? U guys aware of the disaster Taiwan is going through now? Coz i prefer watching Taiwan news on channel 52 and their coverage on the news i huge and learnt that there are 4 isolated area without food water and electricity and because of the flood many are dead. And now the wind moving to china. I feel sad for those people how about u people. Taiwan is also experiencing earthquakes. My friend mum then told me that its the doings of Human that these disasters befalled. What you people think?

the resources we are using..is at a higher rate than wat Earth can replace...so eventually we'll die out...
and we use these resources and in the process produced some reli harmful wastes that harmed the environment and Earth.. so the weather changes also...then mayhem starts....
and so yes it is eventually our own doing after all... -

Taiwan is just next to the Pacific Ocean, so it's not surprising that a hurricane of such powerful nature hit Taiwan and the coastal areas of China. Because of this hurricane, the temperature of South-Eastern China including Hong Kong was raised. -
yeah... i'm getting abit worried becoz i'm gg taiwan for studies next year... for 4 yrs... i dun wanna die there sia....

natural disasters are common to taiwan, hong kong, japan and china.

I think my friend's mum actually meant Karma. The evil doings of human and nature is paying it back to us.
Just read the news the isolated area with the most people trapped inside, which is around 200 thousand, had been linked to the main island with a temporary bridge. The bridge is just like a plank which worries lots about the dangers of crossing it as the wind is real strong. -
I believe it is human's own fault that we do not take care of our home - the Earth, that we have so many additional disasters that could have been avoided.

Dont worry so much.I left Singapore in 1984 and moved to Taiwan.I am still here!! Typhoons are seasonal. Earthquakes: We get them everyday. Most are too slight to report.
Taiwan sits on the intersection of three tectonic plates, and has dozens of active faults.We get shaken and stirred from time to time. If you are going to study in Taipei, not to worry as we here are protected by the Mountains around us.Taipei sits in a centre of a very large Valley.
The Last typhoon affected mostly the the Central and Southern areas and the mountain region badly. Taipei was okay. Lots of new systems have been put in place after Typhoon Nari.
You will enjoy yourself here. Good food,friendly people.lovely scenery There is always someplace new to visit here in Taiwan.
