Any stats on FT leaving SG when NS conscription age comes?

anyone knows? read in another forums that large numbers of FT leave Singapore when they have to serve NS....is it just a rumour or fact?

Learn from it lah......those FT will never serve NS...When things get thorny here, they just leave for other countries

In the first place, these people have no real obligations to Singapore since they are not born here. They are free to come & go as they wish. Just don't give them work permit if they wish to work here or get posted back. Protect the jobs of our citizens first.

Our SAF may end up giving preferential treatment to them even if they Awol or break military rules. If a s'porean does that he will throwen into DB.
U are treated like 2nd class citizens in your own country. -
They will be treated better everywhere too as not to offend those countries
