I was doing an interview with translink manager for my project. He told me that the time interval between each bus is 8 mins, at most 10 mins. What a lier.

what that manager said is right what, based on normal traffic conditions. Factors that influence bus arrival times are usually traffic conditions and the bloody drivers themselves.
Don't you ever notice, there are times where the drivers would drive sooo freaking slow, because they are ahead of schedule. i wonder if they are doing this deliberately... usually when that happens, i'd press the bell every 10 secs prior to my stop... when the driver tells me off, i give him the finger and alight. -

The very fact that the bus interchange time interval for each bus to set off is more than 10mins proves that he is lying.

some buses that no one take and no one heard of come every min and those bus alot of pple take come every hour so on average 8-10 mins lor

Liar indeed. Intervals of bus departing from the bus terminal are about 15~20minutes so how can there be bus in 10 mins interval???
