Singaporean palate

  Seriously sometimes i feel that it is an insult to the chef, i remember visiting a posh restaraunt last time and posh restaraunts do not usually have chilli or ketchup, they were serving french food and alot of Singaporeans asked:"GOT CHILLI SAUCE OR NOT"
  
  No offence but sometimes i think Singaporen's taste bud has a problem that they need so much sauce to actually taste the food but infact they are just destroying the natural taste of the cuisine because the sauce overpowers the natural taste.

  please do not use " Singaporean's ". It is referring to the entire population of singapore excuse me. And u spelled Singapore in the wrong way. And I do not use sauces unless they ask me whether I need any sauces, I do not even care about sauces, I like the original flavour.

  It's their taste buds, not yours, why you worry? Are you a chef? Someone didn't appreciate your cooking?

  maybe the food is disgusting hence need the chilli to cover up so that it is palatable??

  everyone has got their own taste. so if urs is different from others, accept it.

  By eating it with so much sauce the primary dish becomes the secondary dish and the secondary item becomes primary like the meat is the sauce instead of the sauce being the sauce.

  lots of singaporeans add chilli to every damn dish.
  
  that only goes to show that they dont appreciate good culinary skills.
