  I wear a cheap Casio watch with plastic straps.
  
  To me, a watch is just a convenient method of telling the time. I just go for the basic functions: time display (duh), stopwatch (for exercise) and alarm (for sleeping). Everything else are just gimmicks.

  i hv many watches becos i used to colllect them, now they are collecting dust.
  
  i only wear my baume & mercier these days, i hv it for 9 years already and it's still going strong.

  I've got a CK minimal which I bought, been eyeing it for quite some time... My sis got me a 25 hours watch for my birthday last year. Only wear them on special occasions cos scared kena scratched.

  For me when during my teenage years where there are no hp and pager, watch seem like a must for me to check time. Now with hp it is so convenient. Why waste money get another accessory on the wrist when a hp can show time, alarm, phone call, listen music etc?

  I once worked in a company where nobody wore watches - their reasoning was that, as mentioned here, you're already got a clock on your hp, and you've also got one on your PC. Still, checking the time on my hp was not something I ever got used to.
  
  Anyway, after 17 years, I finally replaced my trusty old Seiko diver's watch with a Sea Dweller, and since then all my other watches have been gathering dust.

  Not all mine lah...i hv 3 watch nia(including the lether strap i wearing).. the other few is i ask my uncle take down from their hand lah...they playing majong....
