1. band of brothers for realism
2. Taken and The 4400 for plot and storyline
3. CSI for the mystery
4. Alias and Dark angel for strong female leads...(buffy was rubbish) -

Band of Brothers for telling me respect is to be earned NOT demanded.... get that you manager and manageress and project leader!!!!!! Dun demand respect earn my respect like what the Lieutenant did in the show.... dun just open your mouth and give command .... charge at the enemy also... that is TRUE RESPECT earned!!!...... Episode 9: The last patrol had Winters failing to discharge his duties by telling his men to have a 'good nite's sleep' and report in the morning that they 'made it across the river' and that they were 'unable to acquire any prisoners'.
Now if that were true, what are the implications of such a court martial offense should the senior comdrs watch the show and later press charges for a crime that dates back to WWII? Such a thought probably lingered in the minds of the producers during the filming for sure. -

Best? Sex and the City , for sure.
I also enjoy CSI Vegas and Miami, NY lacks a little something... Band of Brothers was really good too.
Friends can hardly be called drama, more under comedy genre IMO.

How can The Office not be in that list?
It's probably not the best,but much more deserving to be in the list than some,and it's a really class comedy.Brilliant stuff.
