Picking up newspaper on the road

I was going to Cold Storage this afternoon at Victoria Street when I noticed a Chinese woman picking up newspaper on the road. There were papers everywhere and she was alone picking it. I thought she may have dropping her newspaper collection and I went up to help her. After picking it up, I asked how she "drop" her paper and her reply was that she was waiting for taxi and there was none but there were newspaper flying around everywhere so she decided to pick it up and throw away. Her accent tell me she is from China.
At that moment I felt ashamed as there are no other people helping her. I told her Thank you instead when I stopped to help her. Singapore need more people like her. Look like she is determined to make Singapore her home....

Glad to know I am missed. Well got a new job and the office do not have any pc to use leh. Come home, my children need the laptop to do home work and guess what, my pc die on me.... that's why...
